MAJOR REFURBISHMENT WORKS ARE NOW COMPLETE.

Both carriageways of the bridge reopened at 5am on the 10 September 2024 as our major works completed. We apologise for the inconvenience suffered by all our users while we undertook essential bridge maintenance. Works included concrete repairs to the deck and soffits, deck preparation for new waterproofing, new waterproofing system (four coat system), new EMR and APJ movement joints, new kerbs (both Trief and HB), new TS2010 asphalt surfacing, new drain covers, and new High Friction surfacing on the ramps, plus new white lining.
